You need to strike out Miracle at St Anne, Jarhead, The Men Who Stare at Goats, and Apocolypse Now as ways NOT to make a war movie, since they all bash either the US or the Military not support it.

Wow, way to leave off Saving Private Ryan there! That is the first movie that comes to mind out about veterans and sacrafice. But unfortunately, most people will probably be glued to their tv's playing a little game called Modern Warfare 2 (showing support that way).

“A Bridge To Far”, “Gallipoli”, “Band of Brothers”, “All Quiet On The Western Front” and many more should also be on this list. As well as “Paschendale”. Good Canadian war flick. (Canada rep!!)
