Is Captain America in The Incredible Hulk?

This is the spring of comic book heroes, not only as stars of their own movies but in cameo appearances. Tony Stark/Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. is said to make an appearance in The Incredible Hulk and television Hulk Lou Ferrigno is the voice of the new movie Hulk.
In Iron Man, Captain America’s shield is seen in the film and Samuel L. Jackson showed up as Nick Fury at the end of the film after the credits. But will Captain America Himself make an appearance in The Incredible Hulk? Director Leterrier has said you might be seeing Captain America in the film, not just his shield.

There’s a still photo (seen above) from the film that shows a blue serum that is supposed to have made Captain America, so he is mentioned. It would make some sense if Captain America makes a cameo of some kind in The Incredible Hulk since Marvel has The First Avenger: Captain America, directed by Nick Cassavetes and written by Zak Penn, scheduled for a 2011 release.
But is Captain America seen, even briefly, in The Incredible Hulk? You’ll have to go see the movie to find out. The film clip of Jackson as Nick Fury in Iron Man was withheld until the film opened in theaters, so it’s possible no one will see any sign of Captain America until The Incredible Hulk officially opens.
Once again film makers play with the minds of film goers!
