‘Capitalism: A Love Story’ Features Fat Person, Money

Michael Moore is recession-proof.

Whether you love him or hate him, Michael Moore is making more money than you. He’s also winning more Oscars than you. And unless your name rhymes with Blowy Leftnut, there’s a slight chance that he’s eating more hot dogs than you.

In an announcement on Wednesday, we’ve learned that Michael Moore’s latest documentary – set to be released on October 2nd – will be titled Capitalism: A Love Story. You demanded, he supplied.

“It will be the perfect date movie,” Moore said in an announcement Wednesday. “It’s got it all — lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It’s a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let’s just say it: It’s capitalism.”

The film is an exploration of the recent American financial crisis, which Moore calls “the biggest swindle in American history.” Biggest swindle? Me, my Branson, Missouri souvenir thimble collection, and my five Snuggies beg to differ, Michael.

What do you think, you dirty commie? Are Michael Moore and Julianne Moore related or what?

Yay for Michael Moore telling us things we already know, and then charging us money for it. The nerve of those people and their money swindles! *sips Starbucks coffee*

I hope he touches on how the free market kills people.

Its bound to be full of one sided bs.

Why do people give this clown money?

I have yet to see a documentary that is fair and balanced.
  • I love how this dude stirs it up - love him or hate him, his movies are national events that at least inspire good conversation about what we should be thinking about and talking about more often.
  • Despite his clear undeniable biases, you gotta admit his movies are damn entertaining. And though the methods with which he makes his points may not jive with the standards of a legitimate documentary, the points he tries to make are mostly valid ones.

In that sense, he may only appeal to the already converted, but I love a good hit job and if he could slap around a few corporate blowhards for a few hours, I'd very much enjoy watching it.

When does he slap around the government blowhards? Never. Gutless.

Actually Moore is a lying blow hard who is only matched in his hypocrisy by the likes of Al Sharpton. His films are filled with lies and half truths and no proof to back up half the claims he makes.

I will lay money that it is all about how back George Bush is and never once will he mention the new administration and the Trillions in debt they are causing while destroying the free market.
