The peeps over at Bloody-Disgusting.com have confirmed that horror master and rock god Rob Zombie has been behind closed doors talking about directorial duties on the new Conan movie. By Crom that is awesome news.
Rob Zombie clearly has a mean ass violent strike in his movies but he’s yet to tackle a real “action” film and this will be the perfect vehicle for him. He can stretch his head chopping arms out and embrace the darker side of the Conan mythos and show us lots of titties and blood. Hell Yeah! And the film would a good bridge from horror to action, as there are still some mythical elements. I’m excited to see Zombie get his hands on a potential blockbuster and a big production budget.

I wonder how many times Conan will launch into a stream of profanities while some 70’s rock tune plays.

rob zombie is perfect as i think he will be loyal to the 82 movies aswell as to the original comic books .
