Bryce Dallas Howard Goes Supernatural for Eastwood
Movie News By Neil Miller on December 11, 2009 | (4) Comments
Bryce Dallas Howard has joined Clint Eastwood’s next movie, the supernatural drama Hereafter, says Variety.
She will star alongside Matt Damon in the Peter Morgan-penned story of three people — a blue-collar American, a French journalist and a London school boy — who are each touched by death in different ways. As we reported in early November, the film will also star High Tension‘s Cecile de France. The plot will also have something to do with the Tsunamis of 2004.
Howard adds to an already solid cast, but that doesn’t necessarily give us hope. Having just watched Invictus, I’m skeptical as to what Eastwood the director has left to say. Though, I’m interested to see him take on a thriller, as its something new. And something new could be good for a career that has decidedly gone stale.
The film is currently shooting, with a release penciled in for sometime in 2010.
