Brothers Bloom Trailer Isn’t An Adventure Story, but Totally Is
Movie News By Cole Abaius on April 14, 2009 | (8) CommentsIt’s no secret that I’m looking forward to The Brothers Bloom. The acting talent in it looks stellar, Rian Johnson is a great director, and I’m a sucker for a good conman story. I’m also a sucker for a brunette in a bowler hat. Feel free to send me your digits if you fit the bill.
For now, check out the new trailer that just landed in our hands while we were praying for a visit from Emilie De Ravin (I’ve recently gotten into Lost, and I’m also a sucker for blondes). While the trailer isn’t as gorgeous as what we’d hoped for – it’s pretty close, showcasing some fantastic costumes and sweeping cinematography.
Plus, we’re always thankful when trailers fall like manna:
The on-screen chemistry – which is essential for any buddy con flick – looks outstanding. Mark Ruffalo and Adrien Brody work really well together, and it’s nice to see Brody as the reluctant straight man. Rachel Weisz looks beautiful and charming as always. Overall, this trailer has me even more excited to see what Rian Johnson has up his sleeve.
And if it weren’t enough, we also got a sweet new one sheet for the film that you can click on to largify. Something else to be thankful for:
