We’ve made quite a lot of noise over the upcoming biopic of George W. Bush, titled simply W., from acclaimed and often controversial director Oliver Stone. Perhaps it is because many of us are questioning the timing and motives behind such a production, coming so late in the final term of America’s 43rd President. As well, after seeing some of the marketing behind the film thus far, including a few sets of outdoor posters and a very intriguing teaser trailer, this film has gone from confusing in its intentions to confusing in its message — we simply don’t yet have a firm grip on what Oliver Stone is trying to say. To say the least, it will be satirical and most likely unfriendly to still-President Bush. Then again, what did you expect.

To further us along on the journey of discovery that is the time leading up to this film’s release in the fall, we have some new b-roll footage of Josh Brolin giving a speech as George W. Bush, courtesy of Access Hollywood:

    More liberal propaganda...

    I see Brolin is attending the Democratic National Convention, and oh look-y, Oliver Stone has contributed money to Obama's campaign. These clowns are in cahoots with the DNC to paint McCain as being nothing more than Bush's third term. That's the purpose of this propaganda piece.

    These libtard filmmakers and actors need to be taken out and shot.

    An American Carol comes out October 3rd. Conservative voices will finally be heard in Hollywood!

    Unfortunately conservatives in Hollywood are in minority, so when the celebrities promote
    their films, W will probably get more positive attention while An American Carol does not.
    Sad but true.

    I wish you conservatives would realize something, this and american carol will both be stupid. its a shame that oliver stone is doing this now, when its cool to knock W since he's on his way out. Where was he in 2004 and 2000 knocking this guy? this movie, and American Carol, exemplify what is wrong with america today!
