Earlier today drama queen and subscriber to the “Britney Spears’ Tabloid Antics for Dummies” Newsletter Lindsay Lohan was arrested for a DUI (Source: TMZ.com) in Los Angeles when her Mercedes struck a curb. Ah nevermind. I hate gossip. Let’s talk about some movie news that is incredibly relevant to this particular turn of events. The DUI/Coke-and-Run incident comes only a day after Lindsay’s upcoming film “I Know Who Killed Me” churned out its first trailer. Within the trailer, we find Ms. Lohan in a variety of positions that involve a stripper pole (Since you are now too interested in the trailer to read the rest of my article, you can Click Here to view it courtesy of the fine folks over at Yahoo! Now, moving on for the rest of the class that is still paying attention, this incident brings about a quandary: is the timing of Lindsay’s mishaps with her drug habit and her less-than-sufficient intoxicated driving ability ill-timed, or is it brilliantly placed in which to aid the promotion of a less than thrilling thriller?

I would argue that it is well-timed mishap that will drive more and more attention to the wayward starlet. Something that will, in turn, draw attention to this film – despite the obvious lame factor. But I will say that the folks behind this film are smart. Will people pay $10 to see Lindsay Lohan in a plot-less rehash of every stupid thriller we’ve ever seen before? No. Will they pay $10 to see it if she dresses slutty and dances on a pole? Absolutely. It is genius… Now, if they could only find a way to get her to do a sex tape that gets carefully inserted into the movie and coincidentally missed by the MPAA ratings board, resulting in a PG-13 porn-fest…

For now, despite the fact that no sex tape appears to be on the horizon, we do have some fun Lohan-filled pics from “I Know Who Killed Me” to keep your pallets whet…
