Brad Pitt

Are Brangelina on their way to a forbidden city to adopt their 100th kid? No, Brad Pitt has found a new movie to star in, The Lost City of Z. Paramount hired We Own the Night director James Gray is set to adapt the David Grann novel, according to Variety, and the eternally youthful looking Pitt will star as Parcy Fawcett, a British spy and soldier.

Here’s a quick description of the plot:

“Fawcett left Victorian society to explore in the Amazon, and he became obsessed by the idea of an advanced civilization he called Z, which he believed existed in the depths of the jungle. Along with his son, Fawcett headed into the jungle in 1925 in search of Z and was never seen again.”

Well, damn it, spoil it for us why don’t ya? First Titanic, now this. Sigh. Anyway, it looks like The Lost City of Z could be one worth looking into. I will start my Pitt watch with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button first.

What’s your top 3 Brad Pitt films? Are you up for The Lost City of Z?
