the one i saw involved a pile of rubble, an arm, and a severed head that looked into the camera and "sssshhhh-ed" the audience. i thought it was cool, but not "Iron Man" cool.

the rest of the movie kind of sucked though.

this box office success is a good and bad thing....good that we'll be seeing Logan in Japan...then theres the bad because the next film could be as bad or even worse...unless 20th Century Fox doesn't simplify or dumb-down the story and hires a reputable veteran action director.. .

the sequel would be another prequel to X1...so Lady Deathstrike is still a viable option..I assume if there is a third Wolverine movie that one would be one set after the events of X3...since is almost doubtful we'll be seeing X4 anytime soon

Hugh, the movie is okay with good story & cast
but if you have that too many character give them 2 hours of screen time
if you cant, just focus on Sabretooth & Wolvie, like Batman vs Joker treatment, Liev did great here but not maximized to full potential, could have been grand
i was expecting animalistic kind of fighting like two bigcats slashing & scratching each others faces with lightning speed! gallons of blood gushing & spattering all over the place, did see any blood on Jackmans white sandos
what happened to the sci-fi artistic style of the visuals? there was none! Lord of the Rings & 300 was made with a lower budget why can't you? The whole Wolverine idea is a work of sci-fi like Blade Runner so treat it that way
if you are doing his adventure in Japan Frank Miller should be involved since he made that book & colud throw in his ideas as an stylistic artist & great story teller
i wanna see lots of violence and blood next time Jackman!

No surprises, but I don't think that this movie will have the sort of staying power Iron Man did, especially with how incredibly saturated May is for action movies.

With the reccession is still in our economy, this is a good number for the so-so ok 'Wolverine' movie over this weekend. I myself was,,,a..bit dissappointed but I must admit, Taylor Kitcsh did a damn well good job portraying the loveable Cajun-kinetic suave mutant Gambit. I hope he gets into the sequel or my maybe added into the X-Men: First class movie. Emma Frost being Silverfox's sister? Ummmmm yea that screwed up my X-men facts. But it does show Cyclops interacting with her seems to make sense since Emma and Scott do hook-up after Ms. Jean Grey's death. Anyways back to 'Wolverine', I would definitely would like to see Wolverine sequel this time in Japan with the Silver Samurai and maybe Yuriko's connection with Logan in past can be revisited. I know she have been in the X-2 but I know we can give the loveable Logan with another amnesia lol!
