i saw the film yesterday and i wandered if this is based on a trough story cause in the end i tought i saw some dates and articles that made me wonder if this story realy happened in the sixties,thanks.

Philip Seymore Hoffman is great in just about anything…but I'm looking forward to Nick Frost. "Hot Fuzz" and "Shaun of the Dead" were great movies, just as "Spaced" was a great TV series…but I am looking forward to seeing Simon and Nick be successful independantly, and this role seems to be a good choice. Yes, it isn't much of a leap for him, but its certainly a step in the right direction.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago, I thought it could have been fun from the trailer and it was to a certain extent but it was a very uneven movie with way to many endings and a lack of direction. Richard Curtis can write but he certainly cant direct, there are some great perfomances as you would expect from the calibre of the cast but it's one of those movies that just disapates from the memory an hour after seeing it.

Looks great! the only problem is that it probably won't have any Beatles tracks because their so hard to get into movies
