Ben Stiller on set of Night at the Museum 2

Alright, so we cannot confirm nor deny the statement we made in the title of this article — we have no idea where Ben Stiller is going or what he is looking for in the picture above. What we do know is that the pic was snapped on the set of Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian. We only mention Amy Adams because (a) we are in love with her and (b) she has joined the cast of the sequel to the very successful 2006 film to play Amelia Earhart. We also cannot confirm or deny whether she will be tiny in the film. We do suppose however, that Steve Coogan will somehow be small, but entertaining.

Joining Stiller, Adams and Coogan in the film are Dick Van Dyke, Owen Wilson, Ricky Gervais, Robin Williams and Hank Azaria as a villainous Pharaoh. Director Shawn Levy has also returned to the sequel, which follows in the footsteps of the first film, which took in over $571 million worldwide at the box office. If at any point you questioned why a second Night at the Museum was being made, there’s your answer.

For more shots from the set, head on over to TheBadandUgly.com. Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian is scheduled to hit theaters on May 22, 2009.
