Bellatrix Back for Blood, ‘Half-Blood’

Helena Bonham Carter is back as evil bad-ass Bellatrix in the sixth installment of the Harry Potter cash-cow series, ropeofsilicon.com reports. She is the first in the cast to confirm a return outside of the heroic trio; Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.
Not uncomfortable portraying off-kilter characters, Bonham Carter has played support group addict Marla Singer in Fight Club as well as provide the voice and mannerisms for Tim Burton’s character, the Corpse Bride. Her interpretation of the wild, schizo Bellatrix, makes her my first choice actress for any mentally deranged, raving lunatic role.
Bellatrix Lestrange is the Death Eater cousin of Sirius Black and is best remembered for torturing Neville Longbottom’s parents to insanity.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will begin filming mid-Fall and has a scheduled release date for November 21, 2008.
