Behold: Zachary Quinto as Spock!

Above you will notice a picture, taken from one of the many spy cameras that are currently focused on the production of J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, that shows Zachary Quinto for the first time donning the pointy ears as young Spock. It comes to us via a video posted by our good friends over at IESB. For a moment, I thought I was looking at Leonard Nimoy, but alas it was the Heroes star. I have to say, he’s looking good. But then again, the casting of Quinto is probably the only casting move that I have not questioned thus far. Except Zoe Saldana, but that is just because she is smokin’ hot. Check out the video here.
Star Trek is currently in production blasting warp-speed ahead for a Christmas Day 2008 release.
