Courtesy of Empire, we have yet another new poster for Iron Man 2, a movie slated for release on May 7, 2010. It brings to order the curious onslaught of marketing materials seen lately online, almost as if Paramount is trying to take away a bit of the thunder of Fox’s Avatar. Though one could also cite that it’s just that time in the promotional cycle. Around this time in 2007, we were seeing images, posters and eventually a first trailer for Iron Man. In fact, the first film’s trailer hit in September of ’07, with much of the promotional weight being pushed around the Superbowl at the end of January. It leads me to believe that there’s a trailer on the horizon, with another sometime in late-January, early-February. This is of course, just speculation.
