As we all know, to issue forth some sort of Rabbit Horror (or, really, any rodent-based horror of any kind) in the world of two dimensions would be vulgar and wrong.

That’s why Ju-On director Takashi Shimizu has decided to bring it to the masses in 3D. It’s a story thematically parallel to that precocious girl Alice visiting her Wonderland where a young girl has to travel into a strange world to retrieve her brother who fell into it after receiving a stuffed rabbit.

Which sounds closer to Labyrinth than to Alice, but it’s early in the game. Plus, the rabbit has some sort of secret. As they often do. It’s great to see the director leaving the world of Ju-On behind, and it’s likely that his skills will be put to great use with a horror fairy tale like this.[CHUD]
