Fish Tank -Andrea Arnold, second feature after the brilliant Red Road, good mix of stars Michael Fassbender (Hunger) Kristen Warring (rise of the foot solider),Harry Treadaway(city of ember) and some great new raw talent Katie Jarvis, Charlotte Collins, and Chelsey Chase, keeping it real. Great to see this film make it with the Big Fish. Could be another British suprise from this talented director.

If only all of these movies are accessible to the rest of the world too. :( Perhaps the festival organisers should consider putting these movies on DVD box sets (or if not, at least choose the creme de la creme and compress them into one set) so that they too can be enjoyed by film fans who couldn't make it to Cannes. :)
