Baron Cohen to Break You In With Br¼no

Having pillaged the U.S. as the offensive Kazakh journalist Borat, actor Sacha Baron Cohen is now ready to break America’s collective anoos – as Br¼no.
Br¼no, a long-running Cohen alter ego, plagued unwitting interviewees on Da Ali G Show. Br¼no was a flamboyantly gay Austrian TV reporter, whose schtick is well-enscapsulated by one reported title for his forthcoming feature: Br¼no: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt.
Variety reports Bruno will be financed by Media Rights Capital, backers of Babel and the soon-to-be-released remake of Sleuth.
Somehow Bruno doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of Media Rights Capital’s slate. Perhaps the film company is trying to widen its horizons, just as Borat had his horizons widened … with a rubber fist.
