By the looks of the pictures above, they don't even have the Thompson machine guns right! Most, if not all Thompson's, of the 30's had drum magazines, not clip magazines (Looks like they are carrying machine guns from WW2!) I just hope Mann did his homework! I'm somewhat of an authority on Dillinger, so I'll be watching with a VERY critical eye. I think Depp can pull off his portrayal if he's done his homework too. Bale might just be too young for the role of Melvin Purvis. Hopefully this film will be somewhat more than historically accurate and NOT a politically correct version of the Dillinger story.
