Bolstered to stardom by the High School Musical franchise, sexy and now pop-music starlet Ashley Tisdale will star in the upcoming United Artists remake of Teen Witch. The story follows a dorky teenage girl that discovers she is descended from a line of witches. I’m sure then she’ll activate her powers, battle some sort of Bully Queen, make friends, alienate friends, and then correct everything at the end, which will probably take place at a school dance.
The original follows…. The original isn’t even worth watching or talking about. Imagine Teen Wolf but if it sucked and was called Teen Witch and it sucked. Also it sucked.
Hopefully the new movie will be worth a watch. Tisdale is also apparently being groomed for her own TV show. Despite the fact there has been no work done on Teen Witch, it will hit theaters next year – a true sign of the quality it will be.
