Archie Lives! Snyder ‘Goes All the Way’ to Build Watchmen’s Owlship
Behind the Scenes By Cole Abaius on August 7, 2008 | (2) Comments
I remember telling everyone here at Film School Rejects that I would never include an exclamation mark in my post titles. Well, I lied. Just like I lied about showing up for that paternity test. I messed up, got excited and ended up throwing that pesky punctuation into the mix.
And what has me this excited that I’d break the Ninth Commandment? The Watchmen video diary of the construction of The Owlship, commonly known as Archimedes to fans and Archie to those who know him best. It was so exciting, in fact, I ended up breaking the Tenth Commandment, too. Sorry, Steve, I coveted your wife earlier. I’m sure you’ll understand why when you check this out:
I know that you and my neighbor Steve might be tired of hearing about Watchmen stuff, but after being denied entrance into the craft at Comic-Con, I was aching to see something about the process that went into creating it. I also needed the blueprints because after being denied entrance into the craft, Robert Fure and I may or may not have stolen it, taken it for a joyride, and crashed it into a grain silo. Which Commandment covers stealing again? Eight?
Expect the breaking of religious laws to continue until Watchmen finally gets released next March.
