I realize that most of you that read this site will assume that a film titled Antichrist is a Dane Cook biopic, but thankfully, it’s not.
Antichrist is the next project for Palme d’Or winning director Lars von Trier. According to Variety, the film focuses on a couple who choose to mourn and recover from the death of their child in a cabin in the woods. It also works under the premise that it was Satan who created the world instead of God.
Von Trier penned the horror script with Oscar winner Anders Thomas Jensen.
Let’s see: a horror film set in the woods involving Satan written by an Oscar winner and a Palme d’Or winner – sounds like a recipe for a fantastic film. And if Bjork shows up, all the better.
Antichrist begins shooting this summer in Germany.
