I think the shock value of his films isn't enough to warrant their merit. That being said...I still might give this a chance thanks to Johnny Depp and Heath Ledger, but even so, I have low expectations for this movie. Terry Gilliam is overrated and frankly, untalented. I’m Not There was fantastic and I don’t doubt that Parnassus could go the same way and be a niche film – I just think that whoever releases it COULD market it wider.
