Amy Poehler is Tina Fey’s ‘Baby Mama’

IESB.net has a really cool video featurette for the upcoming comedy starring SNL hotties Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Tina plays a business woman who’s desperate to procreate after years of putting work ahead of her social life. When she finds out her chances of getting pregnant are slim to none, she gets a working class girl (played by Poehler) to be her surrogate. Hilarity ensues when Poehler’s character shows up on Fey’s doorstep needing a place to live.

Of course, it’s being produced by Lorne Michaels, but I was surprised at the lack of SNL cameos. I assumed everyone from Chris Parnel to Chris Kattan would be popping up in this thing. It looks hilarious, though - sort of a female Odd Couple with two of the smartest comedians in the business. Plus, it also features Sigourney Weaver, Greg Kinnear and Weeds‘ Romany Malco.
