Discuss: Who’s The Baddest Monster Hunter of All-Time?

Over on the AMC Television blogs site, Scott Sigler compares monster hunters to spiders. Without spiders, “the world would be overrun by insects,” he says. And without monster hunters, the world would soon be infested with “vampires, zombies, werewolves, mummies, ghosts, witches, serial killers and mansquitoes.”
You can find the article over at Horror Hacker, and place your nominations in the comments section (you will need to register). Joss Whedon has requested that you nominate Buffy for the top prize. She’s my top pick as well.
So far, some of the names put forth by commenters on the AMC site have included Riddick, Peter Cushing as Van Helsing, Ripley from the Alien movies, Bruce Campbell as Ash from the Evil Dead films, and, of course, the mighty Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
