Amanda Righetti Battles Jason Voorhees

Amanda Righetti looks to be a lock for going into battle against uber-slayer Jason Voorhees in the upcoming Friday the 13th remake helmed by Marcus Nispel.  Righetti has been seen on Fox’s K-Ville and recently signed on to the CBS pilot The Mentalist.

A quick Google image search has lead me to believe that Righetti is perfect for the role and made me feel all tingly in my special zone.  Now that ain’t hard to do, but this chica is muy caliente.  Allow me to translate that: Schwing!  This will be hottie Amanda’s second foray into horror, following her appearance in Return to House on Haunted Hill, which was abysmal.

Friday the 13th will also star Jared Padalecki and Derek Mears and is being produced by Michael Bay’s (AWESOME) Platinum Dunes company.  Filming begins in Texas in April for a February 2009 release.  Call me stupid, but I’m looking forward to this.
