In my DVD review of Cloverfield, which was published over the weekend, I believe I called these “unnecessary” and “disappointing”. And that is the least of it. To be more blunt, the following alternate endings to the film Cloverfield, which are included on the DVD release due out tomorrow, are absolutely worthless.

The rest of the DVD, however, is golden. There are a ton of great special features that bring a significant amount of insight to the experience. As well, I am told by our friends at ShockTillYouDrop that Best Buy is going to have a special second disc of content titled “T.J. Miller’s Video Diary”, which chronicles more of Miller’s world as Hud, the main camera man in the film. For that though, you will have to wait until tomorrow. Today, you can catch the *yawn* alternate endings below. (Don’t say I didn’t warn you…)
