Adrien Brody Looks Intense in Dario Argento’s Giallo
First Look By Neil Miller on May 18, 2008 | Be the First To CommentI’ve got a little treat for all of you horror fans out there, a first look at Adrien Brody starring in Dario Argento’s upcoming horror flick Giallo. This images also feature Brody’s co-star Emmanuelle Signer (The Ninth Gate).
If you click through the image above you will be taken over to our good friends at ShockTillYouDrop, where our Crave Film channel brethren have scored three hi-res shots from the production, which rolled cameras for the first time last week in Italy. As Shock explains, the film is alleged to be a return to form of sorts for Argento:
Written by Sean Keller and Jim Agnew, Giallo finds Brody and Seigner searching for the latter’s sister (Elsa Pataky) who has been kidnapped by a killer known as “Yellow” (or giallo). The film, which we’ve been following rabidly since we broke the news last November, finds Argento back in Bird with the Crystal Plummage and Deep Red mode.
Now, many of you are aware that I am not a big horror buff, so I won’t even begin to comment on Argento’s work — I will safely assume that he’s pretty good at what he does. As well, Adrien Brody isn’t the type of actor who is prone to disappointing me. He is looking very Italian with that goatee though, isn’t he. Not sure how that’s relevant, but I thought I would point it out either way.
