If Courtney Love succeeds in getting Scarlett Johansson to play her in the planned Kurt Cobain biopic, then Rosie O’Donnell should have a shot at getting Angelina Jolie to play her, if anyone ever makes a movie about her life.

FSR’s friends over at Filmjunk.com ask if Love is setting her sights too high. Ya think? Modesty was never Love’s middle name and getting what appear to be lip implants do not a Johannson make, but hey, she’s got the rights to the story.

Love is also talking Ryan Gosling for the part of her late husband, Cobain, but that doesn’t seem quite as strange as thinking of Scarlett as Courtney.

Casting Gary Oldman as Sid Vicious and Chloe Webb as Nancy Spungen sounded whacko at the time, yet Sid and Nancy turned out to be a good movie, so there’s always a chance that the Cobain biopic will do well if Love signs the quality actors she wants.

Talking Point: Do you think Scarlett would make a good Courtney Love?
