I'm with you re: Michael C. Hall. He's deserved a win for a long time. However, I find it hard to argue with Mad Men winning again. That show is simply fantastic.

I am really glad Michael C. Hall and John Lithgow won for Dexter. I am upset that Bad Men won again for best drama series.

Umm.. it's 'I See You', not 'I Will See You', unless you added the 'will' deliberately XD

I still think either The Hurt Locker or Inglourious Basterds should have won. Take away the special effects and watch Avatar's plot fly away with the wind...

On the other hand, really happy with Christoph Waltz's win and also Mo'Nique's (though they're non-surprises). I think those were some of the defining performances of last year. Am still perplexed though, as to Sandra Bullock's win/noms.

Okay, dumb question, but since Avatar is mostly special effects, how much directing did James Cameron really accomplish?

I'm not trying to bust on Avatar, or Cameron, but I really don't understand what his role as director is in such a film? How much different is it from directing Toy Story? (Okay, there are actually times when you have real actors in Avatar and clearly they need some directing, but I don't think that is what the award for this picture is representing.)

I can't belive AVADAH (as Arnold calls it) won! Over The Hurt Locker, Precious, and Inglourious Basterds? No way man, it just wasn't that great.

Still, The Hangover winning was a pleasant surprise.
