500 Days of Summer Release Schedule

500daysofsummer-header

Fox Searchlight has unleashed this weekend the full release schedule for one of my favorite films of the year, the Sundance darling 500 Days of Summer, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel as a not-so-ordinary ordinary couple whose story is told in a very unique way. In my review from Sundance, I applauded the film’s non-linear narrative and its quirky, but not for the sake of it, take on the traditional “boy meets girl” story. As well, the performances from Gordon-Levitt and Deschanel are in that “best of” category, in that these two actors have really hit their stride and found an uncanny on-screen chemistry.

To be short, 500 Days of Summer is the romantic comedy to see in 2009 — even if it isn’t a story about love.

For more, check out my 500 Days of Summer Review or have a look at the film’s theatrical trailer below.

And now, see below to find out when 500 Days of Summer will be playing in your area. Also, stay tuned for more coverage next week as we will be bringing you even more from this film leading up to its July 17th debut.

This is an awesome movie -- saw it at the Sundance film Festival. I can't find it anywhere in Utah in it's debut week of July 17, 2009. What in the heck is wrong with Utah? This is a good movie -- a story from a guy's point of view.
