Our friends at FirstShowing.net got their hands on a link to the first 5 minutes of the upcoming film Alien vs Predator: Requiem. I was going to just tell you about it and not watch it myself so as not to spoil anything, but out of my loyalty to you good readers, I watched it.

And it is fucking awesome. This movie is shaping up to me made completely of blood and win. The first trailer was badass and this scene ups the ante. Forget what you thought about the first one. While this is a sequel, it has a whole new tone and a new direction. The Predator design has gone back to its roots, making them look more lithe and cut than the fat gladiators we saw in the previous installment.

And from the looks of this clip, no one is safe. This is a real, honest to goodness R-Rated sci-fi actioner, no bullshit attached. I am definitely on line to see this bad boy and I would recommend you check out the clip — if it weren’t already offline. AVP-R opens December 25th. How better to celebrate Christmas than by eviscerating your enemies and watching a bad ass alien kick some massive shit. YES!

Talking Point: Did you catch the clip? What did you think?
