1,000 Best Movies on DVD

Here is an exciting piece of news. Peter Travers, one of my personal favorite critics, and the man that Rolling Stone magazine entrusts with brining it’s legions movie reviews has released his book “1,000 Best Movies on DVD.” This book marks the first time that I can recall when someone like Travers has chronicled a list so in depth and so useful for the average movie lover. I have not yet had a chance to read the list (It’s on order) but from the reviews on Amazon.com, I can see that this one should go down as one of the better Rolling Stone guides ever written.
