like michal said there were 60 animators all doing 4 seconds avarage by my calculations (please tell me if i am wrong) 90 mins x 15 weeks per min = 1350 weeks / 60 animators = 22.5 weeks Half a year! alrhough there was probly deleted scens and other thing similar to that.

4 seconds a week adds up to a lot of time shooting this film. I guess it has been in the works for a few decades now, wow, just wow.

Who would have thought, Up was in production for over 25 years! (If fact #1 is to be believed)

90 minutes x 15 weeks per minute = 1350 weeks / 52 weeks per year = 25.96 years

I'm amazed they were able to produce these graphics in 1984.

If you look carefully at the beginning of the movie, I think Carl's prescriptions say they are from the Luxo pharmacy.

hmmm, 4 seconds of animation a week… it's a 96 minute move which totals 5760 seconds. At 4 seconds a week that makes it 1440 weeks and 1440 weeks equals about 27 and a half years. Did they really start making this in 1981?
