Faithful reader David hipped us to this brand new Watchmen Poster courtesy of tiny internet search engine Yahoo.

A few things stand out – 1) They’re still selling the movie hard for that March release date despite the lawsuit that seems to hang nebulously midair just like The Comedian in this poster and B) They’re printing taglines as writing on the wall. Anyone care to call them out for copying The Spirit? Didn’t think so.

Am I surprised this poster looks incredible? Nope. It’s a really cool mix of realism and comic style.

Everything Zack Snyder and company have done to tease the audience-base for this thing has done nothing but raise the fever pitch, and if they can keep it up through March, they’ll have a giant blockbuster on their hands.

What do you think? Does this poster look awesome or awful? Does it seem like they are selling the movie based solely on the audience getting to see a dude get thrown through a window? Wait, isn’t ‘writing on the wall’ biblical? Clever, Watchmen. Very clever.
