Matt Groening Shows Us His Version of Hellboy

Did you miss Free Comic Book Day 2008 this past May 3rd? It’s okay if you did, you’ll most likely be able to find them in the secondhand shops by this week… no longer gratis of course. Thanks to the wonder that is the world wide web however, you can still see for free the best thing you missed.

SlashFilm has posted an image from the free Hellboy comic presenting a “what if…” scenario of awesome proportions. (Sorry Neil and Robert, this is truly awesome and has nothing to do with Michael Bay.) What if Matt Groening, creator of Futurama and The Simpsons, had also created the world of Hellboy? Very cool. Even cooler if an animated movie was in the pipeline too…
