I seriously dont know what ppl like about the whole twightlight saga crap…I saw the movies and I like the 1st one…hoping for more I saw the second one and what a waste of time that was boring boring boring…took me 2 days to finish watching it…saw the third one and I hoped for more but what a disappoinment that was…Read the books and was very disgusted that I'd read all 4 books and nothing other than Bella & Edward having a weird half breed baby happened…WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no wonder the target age for these books and movies r teenagers…and anoy1 out of that age group that watches these movies and likes them are out of their minds. The third book -which by the way was divided into 3 separate books- it's so disappointed thatI wanted to sue the author -but found out I couldnt- they make you believe that something is going to happen…and u read and read and keep on reading and then read some more and after hat u read the third part and after u r done u find out that nothing is actually ever going to happen…that NOTHING is ever going to happen…u start to think that U, urself, as someone who has never written anything unless it was necessary could have done a better job of writing this 3 book piece of crap…and after writing and writing realizing tat you could have done a much better job with the last book…………………………………….How can I get my time back??????????????????

Herd of books, read books, went Crazy over books, got over books, saw movies, hated movies, wanted to see others opinions on movies, hated Twilight even more.

I think it's a shame when little boys can play only one role in their lives and be considered actors. I don't even consider the small part in Harry Potter a true role. He is not even built or good looking enough to be thought of as a true vampire. Robert Pattinson is a passing fad among young women and teenage girls. Actual books written about vampires contain so much more description of what vampires should be and he is definitely not it. It is ashame these young girls can't tell the boys from the real men. Now when Johnny Depp plays Barnabus Collins, in his “Dark Shadows” movie next year with Tim Burton! These young girls will get to see a real man as a vampire. They will realize Pattinson is a boy once they see Johnny Depp!!!!

This is why we need the goth kids to rid the world of those vamp kids. Didn't South Park teach us this already? The funny thing is I walked by a Hot Topic a week ago and was amazed at how half their store was Twilight products. Cause we all need an Edward Backpack.

I totally agree with you man! That stupid meyer destroyed the vampire myth and made her own shit. In a recent interview she stated that she has never watched a horror movie or read any other vampire novel in her life, she thinks they're stupid. That's not a good enough reason for her to destroy a long line of classics. Vampires are actually a metaphor for human sin and strong sexual desires, I could write a whole essay on them and describe how that dumb woman has created her own character rather.

I totally agree with you man, stephanie meyer makes me really angry. She pretty much destroyed the myth of vampires. In an interview she said she hasn't seen any vampire movies or read any vampire books. Vampires are actually metaphors for human sin and sexual desires, that stupid woman turned it upside down and everything. You know it's not even a love story.

Stephenie Meyer is not smart enough to write a novel (if you can call this that) with metaphors in it. You can tell based on her writing style which is of the same caliber as such great works of art as "See Spot Run". Honestly Dr. Seuss is more eloquent. As far as the movie goes, it was an acting abomination that 15 year old girls went gaga over because they think Edward was the sexiest man alive, even though he looks like he has been rotting 6 feet under the ground for 10 years WITHOUT makeup. This pathetic excuse for entertainment has plagued this country and that is depressing. Half of the fans of this movie never read the book, and those that have: this and Gossip Girls are the only books they must have ever read.

eh…i know it's a vampire movie even though i really dont want it to be. they disgrace everything a vampire is. from the original dracula to interview with a vampire, twilight isn't a vampire movie. vampire literature has always been a beautiful thing and twilight took a shit on it. the author of twilight even admit in an interview she knew NOTHING of what vampires are. There is nothing vampire about the vampires in twilight.

I have to say that I think it is more of a romance story. Certainly the vampires are an essential part, but that would be like pointing out constantly humans and their flaws in any "regular" realistic fiction novel. The goal was to create a different take on Romeo and Juliet, therefore the problem was not class differentiation or family fueds, but physical barriers and limits that must be adhered by. The theme was forbidden fruit, and vampirism was the mechanism by which the theme was reached.

I'll admit I am a die-hard fan of the series, but also admit that I almost loathed the movie. Too inaccurate for my tastes. But I'd also like to say there are intelligent fans of the series out there too, so please don't generalize us teens on the basis of common forum-dwellers who just learned to type without chatspeak.
