The Reject HQ Blog

Don’t worry, the answer to this question will be revealed within this post. Sadly for some, there will be no puzzle or scavenger hunt. Unless you’d like us to design a far-reaching, multi-layered viral marketing puzzle campaign. If so, we can make that happen. Back to the point, we’re here to announce a new little feature that we here at FSR are adding to our weekend programming schedule: The Reject HQ Blog. It’s a new column dedicated to connecting you to the people behind the content, a chance to get more intimately acquainted with the writers of Film School Rejects. Don’t worry, there are more details.

Does anyone remember Circle of Jerks?

Not too long ago, our Circle of Jerks column featured a weekly question posed to a number of our contributors. Like any great survey, it yielded a wide array of entertaining answers. From “What Movie Universe Do You Want to Live In?” to “What’s Your Most Embarrassing Cinematic Gap?” we’ve taken on a fun group of questions already. As part of The Reject HQ Blog, we’ll be bringing this feature back. Is there something you’d like to know? Email those questions to neil@filmschoolrejects.com.

Does anyone remember Better Know a Reject?

We’ve got a number of contributors on our hands. How do you think all of the words end up on this site, magic? And if there’s one thing we’d like you to do, it’s understand why, exactly, we let this group of crazy ones write about movies from day-to-day. With that in mind, we’ve designed a series of questions to help you know them better. Get it? This will come back as part of The Reject HQ Blog, and it won’t just be a way to introduce our new writers — we’re going to put everyone under a microscope. Even Rob Hunter may answer some questions.

And some other yet-to-be-determined shenanigans…

With our roadmap laid out, we’ve been tossing around a number of great ideas for The Reject HQ Blog. It will take you behind the scenes of our world of movie fandom, probably much closer than you’ve ever wanted to be. So if there’s anything you want to see from this new weekly spot, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line. It’s about bring you a look into the minds behind the words of FSR. And it promises to be a lot of fun.

To follow along, bookmark The Reject HQ Blog homepage or stay tuned starting this coming Saturday.
