Twilight The Puppet Saga. The Daily Diversion.

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 8, 2008

Thanks to the wonders of YouTube’s new widescreen functionality, we will now be bringing you The Daily Diversion in a much bigger format. This is good, as we begin the week with an awesome video from Spooky Dan Walker, a regular contributor to one of our fav horror sites, Bloody-Disgusting.com. He and his Spooky Dan Entertainment label have created a puppet-driven version of the year’s most talked about film, Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight.

From where I’m sitting this Twilight short is much more entertaining than the feature film. Yet, while I doubt Twilighters will share my thoughts on this topic, the rest of you should get a good laugh out of it. For more videos from Spooky Dan, check out Bloody-Disgusting’s YouTube Channel BDTV.

Have a video suggestion for The Daily Diversion? Of course you do. Just send that junk via electronic mail to Editors@FSR.

  • Wow, that was almost as creative as the movie seemed to be.
  • LOL! That is way funny though it might have been funnier with voices rather than subtitles. Fans who would balk at something like this need a sense of humor. I like Twilight, but there is SO much to make fun of.
  • I confess I've only seen the Twilight trailer and haven't read the books. I can't get past someone that old still wanting to hang out in High School.
And how many high schools have these vampire teens been to? Are they left back or do they have a wall of diplomas?
Still, with the little I know I think it's better with puppets.
  • LOL! I guess Ann Rice did it for me. I'm with you, who would want to hang out with today's High Schoolers?
