Please don't insult the memory of Michael Ritchie by referring to him as Guy Ritchie.

I liked Franklyn a lot, and I agree that the execution was a bit poor but all in all I really liked the general feel, how the alternate realities were linked and how mental instability comes into play, and I really liked how it (well ok sort of) tied up in the end. I think it's a movie worth owning just to revisit its atmosphere and rewatch certain scenes to pick out nifty details that was missed the previous times.

Rome (Season 1, that is) is an awesome kickass show - I own it and I never get tired of watching it all over again. Too bad Season 2 was bleh and it didn't get a chance to continue. One of the highlights of the show has to be a pre-Grey's Anatomy Kevin McKidd haha. XD

P.S. The spoof genre should just roll over and die.

A bit of trivia: While searching for images on the Amazon site, a search for LIMITS OF CONTROL also brought up Penthouse's WITHOUT LIMITS: SEX OUT OF CONTROL which I have to assume is far less existential.
