I know you gave it a nod in honorable mentions, but the trailer for Terminator Salvation was one of the best of the year hands down. The movie disappointed sure, but come on that trailer was awesome!

btw you gave Taken an Honorary Mention while also being on the actual list. You guys must have liked that trailer a lot. lol

WTWTA's trailer was definitely top notch stuff. Gives me goosebumps EVERY time.

I agree with almost everything. I would add the trailer of Watchmen though. Never seen a trailer like that.

Where the Wild Things Are trailer – definitely the best of the year. I'd put the teaser for Clash of the Titans among the honorary mentions too; despite the cheesiness and deliberate use of rock opera music it really made me want to go watch it.

Oooh and what about Fantastic Mr. Fox trailer?

I actually had Up In The Air on my list at first, but I couldn't decide between the monologue teaser or the actual feature trailer… and then I dropped them both. I have no explanation beyond that, and if this were a Top Sixteen list I probably would have added it back in.

A Serious Man was never even considered though. Did nothing for me.

I'm a little upset to see the “Up in the Air” trailer left out and the sheer absurdity of the “A Serious Man” omitted from this list

But, yeah, Where the Wild Things Are was probably the single best trailer of the year despite Neil wanting to watch the theatrical for Star Trek twice a day the entire year.

i loved the “Last House on the Left” trailer too. great use of that song.
