OMG!!! Just read a blog about that British hunk actor Christopher Beren being up for an audition for a major role in “The Hobbit”. Is this true? I guess it does prove that miracles do happen! Zero to Hero in twelve months. Cant't wait to see the first instalment.

You forgot about Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis. They all have experience in standup and entertainment. Bradley Cooper was an extra in Sex and the City, Zach Galifianakis was a stand up comedian and Ed Helms is a regular on both The Daily Show and The Office. All three of them were in the suprise hit of 2009 The Hangover.

One more thought. Star Trek is not one of the 2 biggest films being released next year. I am going to assume that Watchmen holds one of the top two spots. Maybe I just didn't want to spend every spot focusing on Avatar and Star Trek. ;)

Luck or not, she's definitely someone that will make an impact in 2009. Si? And Luke Wilson has been in some decent films himself. If only we could be so lucky. I don't think you have to be the acting messiah to be important. Look at Tom Cruise. Or don't. I try not to.
