SXSW Film 2010

I am a comic book geek. I won’t fight it. Call me a nerd, and what have you. Those of you who know and love comic books though, probably realize how big of a deal that Mark Millar is. What you may not know though, is that he is one of the nicest and most passionate people I have ever met.

Mark Millar can be credited as creator for many things within our current popular culture. You may know his name from Marvel Zombies, The Ultimates, Wanted, Marvel 1985, Civil War and now Kick-Ass. The man is full of ideas, and great ones no less. He has pretty much taken over my comic book life for the past four years or so. So when I had the opportunity to sit and talk with him, you can pretty much guess how I felt.

I saw Kick-Ass last week, and you may not have heard…but it is amazing. Without a doubt, it is one of the most fun films of the year. With that, we have a treat for you…our amazing readers. Not only do we still have a contest running for three (3) copies of Kick-Ass: Creating the Comic, Making the Movie (Which you can still enter enter here), but we also have a great interview with the man himself.

Watch our two-part, not so short interview with Mark Millar via the players below.
