Why Watch? Because there’s nothing like taking The Wizard of Oz, combining it with Apocalypse Now, and telling it all exploitation style.

In this short flick, Dorothy lives a shitty life, but she’s asked to follow the yellow road to Kurtz (The Wizard) and to kill him. The Wizard’s gone crazy, and he’s not fit for command anymore.

Recasting the Scarecrow as a hitchhiking stoner, and the Wicked Witch as a local policeman that loves the smell of napalm in the morning, the short also plays some clever referencing gags (like Dorothy’s big pink bubble gum bubble in place of Glinda The Good Witch’s pink orb). Plus, you can’t go wrong with M.C. Gainey as a mad Kurtz.

The horror, the horror. There’s no horror like home.

What Will It Cost? Just 30 minutes of your time.

Does it get better any better than that?

Check out Apocalypse Oz for yourself:
