Most in this generation don’t even know what a party line is (or they think it’s something political) but a party line was right in the heart of the concept for this film.

The trailer promises some great Doris Day singing, a sad sack Tony Randall, and Rock Hudson lying through his teeth to get the girl. You just can’t beat that.
