Movie World Cup Fever is upon us, and we’re celebrating by getting shin guard deep into a massive competition that honors the cinema of each country in the Cup. For our weekly foreign film coverage, check out Foreign Objects, but stay tuned to our Movie World Cup for the next week and half as we need you to decide the winners.
The second match up of Round One finds underdog Uruguay up against powerhouse France. It was going to be an uphill battle for the 2004 film Whisky, but going up against the Oscar-nominated, extremely well known Amelie might see it exiting the tournament in the first round unless there’s a massive upset.
