Movie World Cup Fever is upon us, and we’re celebrating by getting shin guard deep into a massive competition that honors the cinema of each country in the Cup. For our weekly foreign film coverage, check out Foreign Objects, but stay tuned to our Movie World Cup for the next week and half as we need you to decide the winners.
On the opening day of the Cup (and the opening of Round One) we see host country South Africa face off against Mexico with two strong films. District 9 is somewhat of a fanboy favorite, so it might be hard to beat, but Sin Nombre came out of the gate strong last year and impressed almost every audience it touched.
