Geez, I decided to read for once and this is what I get… probably shouldn't have started with your idiotic comment.

A couple quick points before I go back to flinging feces at the wall… 1) This is a movie preview, not a book review. 2) The book is a love story above all else (and there's nothing wrong with that). His time travelling is genetic, but it has no purpose other than plot device. Correct me if you think otherwise… there's no end result or goal to his travels, he just travels. You could say it's a “time travel without purpose shtick.” Again, nothing wrong with that. All I said was that it's a tough sell to a movie audience expecting a point specifically related to the time travel.

Ok. Poo time.

Ah well – the great news about all this is that only hmm, 2% of the movies will make it to my shores this year (GI Joe and probably, if we're really lucky, District 9 and Inglorious Basterds).

But anyways I'm looking forward to District 9 (of course!), the Basterds, the Time-Traveller's Wife, Julie&Julia, Ponyo, Cold Souls, Paper Heart and Taking Woodstock. Nice list you've put together! I was especially intrigued with Cold Souls (Paul Giamatti will be awesome, as always, and the trailer wasn't half bad).
