Introducing FSR’s 31 Days of Horror
31 Days of Horror By Robert Fure on October 1, 2008 | (12) CommentsIn October, we Rejects think of three things: horror, boobs, and candy. Granted, we’re always thinking about candy and boobs, but horror is more prominent during the month that features Jack O’Lanterns, bloody kitchen knives, the walking dead, and Halloween. As you may have read in Boiling Point earlier this week, Hollywood isn’t doing much to celebrate Horror this Halloween, so in our fine tradition of bucking the system and doing our own thing, we’re going to give you 31 Days of Horror.
Every day we will have a special 31 Days of Horror article that will, most often, recommend to you some of the greatest, goriest, or most fun ways you can watch a human get gutted – or just something to laugh at with the kids on Halloween night. So make sure to check out all our recommended movies and keep an eye out for special Horror Themed installments of your favorite columns, including Listology, Old Ass Movies, Movie Style Guy, and Foreign Objects, plus a few special editorials. And just to keep things fresh, we’ll also be recommending some horror books, graphic novels, and anything else that fits the theme that we think you’ll dig.
Each special mini-review will come with a KillSheet, cuing you into exactly why this makes the list, from Killer Scenes to Violence, Sex, and Scares. So buckle your seat belts and clutch your baseball bat a little tighter tonight – It’s going to be one Killer Month.
Yours in Gore,
The Staff of Film School Rejects
