Officially Cool - Indiana Jones Week

So there have been quite a few awesome versions of Monopoly over the years but for Indiana Jones fans, this is (for the lack of a better comparison) your Holy Grail edition. This Indiana Jones Monopoly Edition is exclusive to Wal-Mart. Starting with the “artifact crate” packaging, down to the game tokens and fertility idols for houses and Ark of the Covenant for hotels…this is one badass collectible. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for just under $30.

We bought the new Indiana Jones Monopoly today and we played it tonight as well. Part way through the game, we noticed that nearly all the property cards were misprinted. All fronts corresponding to the usually spaces and colors on the board. However, almost all the reverses were wrong. The property name, mortage amount, etc. corresponded with some other property around the board other than the property listed on the front of the card. I only noticed a couple of cards that had matching front and back property descriptions. Has anyone else seend this or is this a unique set? I am thinking of selling it on ebay!! Please email me with any useful or interesting comments about what we found. Thanks. Robert

i have this and ours was fine except one thing we couldn't find anything in the hand book about the guardsman space...we do not know what this is for it has 75 on it but no deed card came with it and nothing mentioned in the hand book..how are we to know how to play it correctlly when it has things on the board and nothing in the handbook or no deed card..we love the game it's became my 8yrs favorite game and it's helping to read more..for the price you pay for it should come equiped with everything..times are hard right now to be buying games not all there..

We have the same issue with the deed cards. I hope more people will write in whether or not they have the same issue.
  • I have the exact same issue- must have been a little boo-boo when they did the printing plates (or whatever they used) :-)

They are all not misprinted. I got the set early tonight and all these websites had me scared but I can testify mine was NOT misprinted.

So, that raises the question, if they are not all misprinted are the misprints more valuable?? Kinda odd if so, isn't that rewarding manufacture defects?

Just bought the game yesterday and they are misprinted. I was hoping the company would replace the cards. Anyone had luck with that?
